#1 Trend for 2027: Analog

AI has recently made me more interested in analog design. Whaauutt?! 🤯

About a week ago, I saw Gary Vee share a “barbell” prediction that caught my attention: as AI and automation grow, we may also want more analog, offline, real-life experiences.

Funny timing: right before seeing his post, I started designing a site where I’m using a lot more AI in my workflow… while ALSO finding myself drawn to an analog look and feel in parts of the design. Maybe it’s the ’80s kid in me. 👾 Tech, gaming, and futuristic design felt HUGE then... and this new AI era is somehow bringing me right back to that vibe.

Currently, I’m inspired by both AI and analog.
