I've loved designing things since I was little.

My career took an unexpected path. I earned a degree in mathematics, taught math, and worked in aerospace as a Reliability Engineer before going back to school for graphic design. That mix of analytical thinking and creativity has shaped how I approach product design ever since.

For nearly 20 years, I've designed digital experiences for some of the world's largest companies, including products used by millions of people. I enjoy the challenge of connecting user needs with business goals to create experiences that are both useful and thoughtfully designed.

I especially love building products from the ground up (0→1) and collaborating with Product, Business, Research, Content, and Engineering to turn complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences.

Lately, I've been exploring how AI can help me experiment, prototype, and bring ideas to life. I'm especially interested in exploring interaction and motion earlier in the design process.

Outside of work

You’ll often find me practicing Iyengar yoga with long-established senior teachers. I love backbends and inversions. My current goal is a steady seven-minute headstand in the middle of the room. 🙃

I also created The Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, an Instagram project that makes ancient yoga philosophy more approachable through simple explanations and original graphics. It’s grown to 14K+ followers.

I love traveling for live music (especially The Cure 🖤), yoga, and the bliss of returning to familiar places or discovering somewhere entirely new.
