About

A little math, a little art, and a lot of curiosity.

I came to product design through mathematics and graphic design. Math taught me to break down hard problems and look for patterns. Graphic design taught me to make ideas clear and engaging. Early on, I also designed and coded websites, so I learned how design decisions translate into something people can actually use.

Over nearly 20 years, I’ve brought those skills to healthcare, financial services, retail, and consumer products—from pharmacy experiences used by millions of people to wealth management platforms and online shopping.

I like making complicated things feel simple. I enjoy projects where the answer isn’t obvious yet. I ask questions, explore ideas, and work with product, research, content, and engineering to find a clear way forward. I like shaping the big picture and working through the details that make it work.

I also enjoy helping other designers do their best work. I’ve helped launch design organizations, build design systems, and create processes that teams can use in their everyday work. That includes training designers and helping them put new ways of working into practice.

Lately, I’m exploring how ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and Figma MCP can help me develop ideas and build working prototypes. I’m especially curious about bringing interactions and motion to life earlier in the design process.

Away from the screen

You’ll often find me practicing Iyengar yoga with senior teachers. I love backbends and inversions, and I’m working toward a steady seven-minute headstand in the middle of the room. 🙃

I also love to travel—for live music (especially The Cure), yoga, or the chance to revisit an old favorite and discover somewhere new.
